A great shrimp pasta recipe to try !
- 8 oz linguine
- 1 lb raw, peeled shrimp
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp Creole seasoning
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 1/4 c Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper (optional/adjust to taste)
- salt to taste
Cook pasta and drain.
While pasta is cooking, saute onion in butter in large deep skillet until slightly soft.
Add shrimp and continue to saute until shrimp are slightly pink.
Add heavy cream and creole seasoning.
Simmer until mixture begins to thicken.
Remove from heat and add the Parmesan cheese, parsley and crushed red pepper.
Mix with pasta and let stand until desired thickness.
Add salt to taste....and the shrimp pasta recipe is ready to serve...enjoy it !
